The Nicola Devine Photography Competition 2024

The Friends of the Trap Grounds Town Green & Local Wildlife Site have established an annual competition in memory of local photographer Nicola Devine, who died in 2022.

Prizes. There are two categories (under 18 and 18+), with a prize of £100 in each category, and a chance for winners and runners-up to have their photos of Trap Grounds wildlife and scenery included in our annual calendar. If your image is selected for inclusion, you will be credited, the copyright will remain with you, and you will be entitled to two free copies of the calendar.

Submissions. Entries are invited at any time of the year, with a deadline of 1st October. They should not have been previously published anywhere else. Please send your pictures to [email protected]. Please state your name, your age if 18 or under, the date when you took your photo(s), and a rough description of the location on the Trap Grounds.

Format. Images should be landscape, not portrait, and the maximum size of each should be 5MB.

Access. The Trap Grounds nature reserve is on the edge of the canal in north Oxford, near the Frenchay Road bridge; nearest postcode: OX2 6TF. It is open to the public at all times. For a street map and a site map, click on our home page.
