A participant in the recent Wild Oxfordshire conference wrote afterwards:
“Thank you and the ONCF team for organising a really great day. The Trap Grounds have become a magical and peaceful place, combining open access for public recreation with some serious nature conservation, and it has one of the best board-walks I have ever seen. When you have such a good walking route as that, the general public will not stray into the conservation areas and cause havoc, and in time the wildlife gets used to people being restricted to the path and they come much closer to the path with greater confidence. Â It really is an enormous credit to you and your team, and I hope that the City Council recognises what a brilliant job you have done”
