Springwatch Family Afternoon
Sunday 19 May, from 2 pm to 5 pm: join us for pond-dipping and green crafts; learn how to use microscopes and binoculars; and (at 4 pm) meet the winners of the Phil & Jim creative writing competition. All ages welcome, but children under 16 must bring a responsible adult. Wear wellies and old clothes.
May Morning Birdsong Walk
Enjoy the post-dawn chorus! Meet us at 7 am on the canal bridge in Aristotle Lane for a one-hour walk round the Trap Grounds with birdwatcher Sam Crofts. Bring binoculars if you can; and be prepared for muddy ground.
Anual General Meeting 2019
Our AGM will be held on TUESDAY 26 FEBRUARY at St Margaret’s Institute, Polstead Road, north Oxford, at 7.30 pm. Join us to celebrate conservation progress and key wildlife sightings of the past 12 months. The guest speaker will be Nigel Fisher, Conservator of Wytham Woods, giving an illustrated talk about the wildlife of Wytham.
