Posted on 22nd April, 2012
On the last weekend in April, an Oxford film-maker will be making a short documentary about the Trap Grounds and its place in the life of the local community. From 3.15 pm to 4.45 pm on Friday 27thwe will be filming the activities of the Phil & Jim After-School Environment Club … from 2 pm to 5 pm on Saturday 28th: volunteers doing practical conservation work … and from 2 pm to 5 pm on Sunday 29th: brief interviews with visitors – young and old, with or without dogs, with or without wheelchairs and buggies - about their perceptions of the Trap Grounds, and what they value about the place. We hope that all our supporters will be involved in the film in one way or another. For the practical work on Saturday afternoon, tools will be provided, but please wear boots and thick gloves, and bring a wheelbarrow if you’ve got one.
